M. SCHMIDT - MASCHINENTECHNIK
Our front stop systems are tried and tested in practice and designed for the attachment to gate shears or for a later expansion of gate shears. By means of this attachment the economy of your gate shear can easily be optimized. The program-controlled front stop system puts the plate metal sheets quickly and exactly into the desired cutting position. This way different measurements of plate metal sheets can be cut reliably and exactly.
The front stop system VAS is designed for the attachment to gate shears.
The base is designed in a non-distorting ribbed construction.
The machine is designed in a stable steel plate construction.
The linear guides are hardened and grinded, exactly adjusted during the mounting of the machine and firmly screwed with the cover bar.
The sledges consist each of a grinded steel plate and are fitted with two ball guides.
The spindle drive consists of one ball thread spindle each.
The ball thread spindles are made of wear-resistant steel. The path of the balls is hardened, grinded and polished. The core of the spindle is unhardened.
The bearing of the spindle is effected on both sides by means of angular contact thrust ball bearings. The spindle is pre-stretched by means of a tension nut, to counteract a slackness of the spindle.
The drive of the stop-system is effected by a separate driving motor for each limit stop arm. The power transmission from the motors to the spindles is effected by serrates belts.
The stop cams are made of high-quality steel, exactly worked and plasma-nitrided. They can be tilted, so that they are no hindrance when the stop system is feeded with sheet steel.
The cam holders are firmly fixed with the sledges. Therefore spindle drive and cam are forming a unity. The cam holder forms the casing for the complete sheet metal grab.
The sheet metal grabs are also made of high-quality steel, exactly worked and plasma-nitrided. They can be tilted like the stop-cams. The grab-and tilting function is effected by an ingenious mechanical system. The clamping force is produced by a maintenance-free pneumatic cylinder.
The slewing brackets allow an easier placement of the plate metal sheets on the limit stop system and prevent the slackness of the plate metal sheets. The slewing brackets are fixed to the limit stop carriers and fitted with ball rolls. The brackets can be fixed at six different positions.
The left stop arm is attached to two stable feet. It forms the angle stop. The feet are fitted with set screws and doweled with the floor by means of dowel plates. Additionally the left stop arm is bolted with the gate shears at the front end. Adjustment-screws and clamp bolts allow an exact alignment to the shears.
The right moveable limit stop is running on a bridge, which is fitted with a linear guide. Clamp bolts and adjustment-screws allow an exact alignment to the gate shears. The outrigging end of the limit stop system is attached to a stable foot. At the lower footend a roll guide is flanged, which runs on a rail. By means of the linear guide and the roll guide the stop system can easily be adjusted at right angles to the shears. A clamp at the linear guide allows a fixing against unintentional displacing.
The pneumatic connection is placed behind the maintenance unit of the shears. The supply is guided to the left limit stop, where a stop valve is located.
The security-locking between shears and front limit system is effected by a separate proximity switch, which is installed within the shears.
The electrical control cabinet is built according to the VDE - rules. All the necessary electrical components are installed in the control cabinet.
The operating of the control is effected by means of a film-covered keyboard of the operating device. From this place all operating modes can be selected easily and quickly.
