The plate-cutting device PLS 50 2600 consists of hydraulic shears, which are fitted with a stop system. This combination allows it to cut the rubber or plastic plates automatically into sections according to the previously determined measurements, after having put the plates onto the air cushion table.
The operator-friendly software allows it to operate the machine without long instruction times.
In the operation mode "automatic" the plates can be immediately deleted into the required measurements after the input of the raw material datas, the required number of pieces and the different cutting lengths. The measure tolerances of the cut pieces are within a range of +/- 0,1 mm depending on the material. The operating programs can be easily stored, started or alterated if necessary.
In the hand-operating mode the stop barrier can be put into the required position after the input of the nominal position (length of the working piece). The cutting process is started manually with the two-hand -control. By means of this operating mode even plates with larger dimensions for example, can be trimmed roundabout.
The security of the machine is guaranteed by means of two light barriers, which are fixed on both sides of the shears. By gripping into the danger zone the cutting movement is immediately stopped. The program can be continued only after having released the light barrier and after having started the two-hand control.
