The laboratory press HB - DRA was developped especially for the execution of long-time pressing tests, which allow only minimal pressure variations. The machine control allows a very precise pressure regulation with a hysteresis of less than 0,3 %, a linearity of less than 1 % and a repeatability of less than 0,2 % of the maximum regulated pressure.
Technical description:
The laboratory press is designed in a stable 2-column - upstroke constuction. The hydraulic power pack, running extremely noiseless, is integrated into the chassis of the machine. The hydraulic control is designed in a unit construction. All necessary electrical components are installed in the control cabinet. The pressing cylinder produces the pressing force which is adjusted at the pressure regulator. The ram, operating from the bottom to the top, is guided with bronze bushes at the columns. The cold pressing plates are removeable (to exchange them with heating-plates for example) and surface grinded. The cross head adjustment is effected by adjusting the nuts at the columns. This method of adjustment even allows an exact alignment of the pressing plates to one another; paralelism lower than ± 0,01 mm . By means of the operating panel the set values can be adjusted, the actual values can be indicated and the machine parameters can be set. The indication of the operating pressure by means of a pressure gauge NG 63. The indication of the actual values by means of a precision measuring manometer NG 160 and a digital pressure indication. The supply voltage of the machine is 230 / 400 V 50 Hz.
